BOX OFFICE FORECAST: *Godzilla vs. Kong*

ith 50 percent of United States theaters reopened, Warner Bros. releases today the monster mashup, Godzilla vs. Kong.

This epic movie that cost $165 million to make will play on 3000 screens through the Easter weekend. This will be the widest release of any movie since the pandemic. Hollywood prognosticators believe revenue for Godzilla vs. Kong could reach $20 million.

Godzilla vs. Kong pre-sold more than 10,000 private rentals at theaters. International ticket sales in 28 countries have exceeded $120 million. (Variety)
