TAYLOR SWIFT song causes Crowds Swarm “Black Dog Pub” in London

It would be petty if Taylor Swift intentionally forced her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn to abandon his favorite London hangout. But intentional or not, she effectively did that by naming the song “The Black Dog” after the pub where Joe often grabbed a pint.
One of the rawest tracks on Tortured Poets, “The Black Dog” finds the pop star lamenting a recent heartbreak with the hook, “Old habits die screaming.” Fans speculate that Alwyn, whom Swift dated for about six years before news of their breakup emerged last year, inspired the lyrics. (Billboard)
The Black Dog Pub has been swarmed by Swifties since the release of The Tortured Poets Department.
The pub’s event manager admitted the crush of Swifties has been a challenge but (quote) “We’re just loving it. All of the attention has been pretty overwhelming but we can’t be happier. The album plays non-stop here. We’ve had singalongs from fans.” (BBC)
