PRINCE HARRY: Echoed Mother’s Words

Prince Harry turns 36 years old this year. The same age as his mother, Princess Diana, when she was killed in a car crash. That’s likely on his mind these days.

During Monday’s farewell, Harry echoed his mother’s words as she stepped out of the Royal spotlight. In December 1993, Princess Di said she would retreat to a private life. In a final public speech, she told a non-profit working with brain injured patients, (quote) “You have given me an education. By teaching me more about life and living than any books or teachers could have done.”

In Harry’s farewell speech, he said something eerily similar to a non-profit he founded helping African HIV-children. Harry told the crowd, (quote) “Together, you have given me an education about living.”

Two speeches with the same turn of phrase. Probably an intentional choice by Harry to honor Princess Diana.  (Lainey Gossip)
