BEYONCE: Monica Lewinsky Wants Lyrical Justice

Beyonce has been changing songs from her new Renaissance album because of complaints from various sources — and now Monica Lewinsky wants her to go back and make things right with an oldie.

After seeing news that disability-rights groups got a retraction for a slur in the song “Heated,” the infamous White House intern sent out a tweet that simply said, “while we’re at it….’Partition.'” In that decade-old tune, Queen B sang the line “He Monica Lewinsky-ed all on my gown” — a reference to Monica’s “encounter” with Bill Clinton.

Someone in the comments asked if she’d contacted Bey directly, and Monica replied, “No, i haven’t. i did mention it in the first Vanity Fair article i wrote in 2014… which was the first public thing i’d done in 10 years. but you make an interesting/fair point…”
