ELON MUSK: Bionic Monkey Powered Computer With Mind

Elon Musk took one-step closer to human’s demise.

Like an episode straight out of Black Mirror, Elon Musk implanted a microchip in the brain of a monkey, which could then control a computer with only its thoughts.

This must be a prequel to Planet of the Apes, right?

This “brain-computer interface” was developed by a super-secret neurotechnology company co-founded by Elon Musk. Neuralink hopes to implant in human brain chips that can receive and transmit signals. In a presentation this week, Elon stated his goals, (quote) “Ultimately, we can do full brain-machine interfaces where humans achieve a symbiosis with Artificial intelligence.”

Human testing of this microchip may begin in six months. (Business Insider)
