Britney Spears laughed off the welfare check cops conducted after her knife-dance video — and posted another one to prove she’s not changing her attitude.

Brit took to Instagram to tell followers “I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are fake knives that my team rented from Hand Prop shop in L.A. These are not real knives. No one needs to worry or call the police. I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite performers, Shakira.”

That’s a reference to the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer’s recent VMA performance.
