Tourists Hop The Fence

Even with the rules and regulations that the Prime Minister of The Bahamas enforced over the Independence Holiday some didn’t feel that the rules applied to them. All becahes of Nassau and Grand Bahama were closed to limit crowds to the beaches to limit the spread of Covid-19 in The Bahamas. These rules were applied to Bahamians and tourist alike, but some tourists felt as though those rules were ludacris and decided to hop the fence of Cabbage Beach, Paradise Island to go for a little dip. They stated that their reason for breaking the law that was put in place by the Government were because they came to the Bahamas for sun, sand, and no doubt the sea. Many citizens are now in an uproar because of the actions by the tourists that got to take a swim without any information as to whether they will be fined or serve time for breaking the law.
