Written by on August 9, 2023

Just when the Lizzo news started to simmer down a bit, it appears that more people are trying to come forward with new complaints.

According to an exclusive report by @NBCNews, the lawyers representing three of Lizzo’s ex-dancers have said they are now reviewing new complaints from women who claim to have been employed by the singer.

While speaking with the news outlet, Ron Zambrano, the attorney representing the backup dancers, shared that his law firm is now looking into the allegations from at least six people who said they toured with Lizzo and on her Amazon Studios reality show Lizzo’s “Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.” He explained that the new allegations are regarding a “sexually charged environment” and “failure to pay employees”. But are these new complaints enough to move forward with a lawsuit? Zambrano said, “Some of the claims we are reviewing may be actionable, but it is too soon to say.”
