BEYONCE: Six Shots to Win an Emmy

Beyonce has not one but six shots to win an Emmy. 

The nominations for the 71st annual Emmy Awards were announced today, and Beyonce’s Homecoming was recognized in six separate categories. The concert film is up for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Outstanding Music Direction, Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Writing. Homecoming is also up for two technical awards: Outstanding Production Design and Outstanding Costumes for Variety.

She’s previously been nominated for Emmys for Lemonade, the On the Run Tour, and the Super Bowl 47 Halftime Show, but never won. 

The Emmy Awards air on FOX on September 22nd.
