WENDY WILLIAMS: Return Delayed Until 2022

We may not see Wendy Williams for some time. She Instagrammed on Monday about her medical issues. Wendy posted, (quote) “My health has been a hot topic. I’m making progress but it’s taking longer than we expected.”

That’s forced producers to confront reality. The New York Post reports Wendy could be away for the remainder of the year. A backstage source from The Wendy Williams Show said, (quote) “Producers are already trying to line up guest hosts through December.”

She wrote on Instagram, (quote) “I’m a woman of a certain age. I know enough to listen to my doctors and will return to my purple chair as soon as we all agree I’m ready.”
