Prince Harry Said It Wasn’t His Grandmother Nor Grandfather That Discussed Baby Archie’s Skin Color

Last night Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s highly anticipated interview with Oprah Winfrey aired. One of the most shocking things discussed during the interview was when Meghan revealed that there were some discussions about how dark her son Archie’s skin tone would be before he was born. Harry and Meghan decided to keep the identity of the person who discussed the matter under wraps. However, in an interview this morning, Oprah revealed that it wasn’t Harry’s grandmother nor grandfather who discussed baby Archie’s skin tone. She still doesn’t know who, but she knows it wasn’t his grandmother or grandfather. In an interview with Gayle King for CBS This Morning, Oprah said, “He did not share the identity with me. He wanted to make sure I knew and if I had an opportunity to share it, that it was not his grandmother nor his grandfather that were a part of those conversations. He did not tell me who was a part of those conversations, as you can see I tried to get that answer on camera and off.” The news of Harry and Meghan’s sit-down interview with Oprah came shortly after it was announced that after a year, they would not return to fulfill their roles as working members of the royal family.
