MEGAN THEE STALLION, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE: Fake Beef?

There’s a story going around about Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake getting into some beef backstage at last night’s (Tuesday’s) VMAs. Those two are all good, though.

There’s footage showing Megan getting glammed up backstage when Timberlake and the members of NSYNC pass by. JT can be seen smiling and leaning in to say something to Meg, who responds, pointing her finger emphatically and turning away. Some folks who saw the clip were convinced that it was proof of tension between the two.

The thing is, the video doesn’t tell the entire story. A source says there was “zero fight” between the two of them. What looked like an argument was actually Meg jokingly saying that their first-time meeting didn’t count and that they needed to have a “proper” meeting. The same source says it was actually “very cute.”

Another eyewitness corroborated this story, saying, “Meg loves Justin. She was saying “No, no, no, we’ve never met before.” It was their first time meeting and she was excited.”
