KANYE WEST: First Presidential Rally Was “Unorganized & Rowdy”

Written by on July 20, 2020

Kanye West‘s held his first presidential rally Sunday in North Charleston, South Carolina — and it wasn’t without controversy.

TMZ described it as “unorganized and rowdy,” adding that “he didn’t even have a podium or a microphone to address the crowd, which was right up in his face.”

The gossip blog says says Kanye “rambled through a number of topics — oftentimes incoherently.” One of the more outrageous things he said was that “Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people.”

At another point, he got very personal when he brought up abortion. Kanye broke down in tears as he admitted not wanting his first child, North, with his then-girlfriend Kim Kardashian. He also admitted that Kim might want to  divorce him after his confession.

The rapper has filed papers with the Federal Election Commission, and he’s also filed to get on the ballot in Oklahoma.
