DEMI LOVATO: *Dancing* on Tuesday

Starting Tuesday, the Demi Lovato documentary Dancing With the Devil streams on YouTube. The four-part series features harrowing stories of her drug abuse.

Demi recounts how a date rape was the first time she had sex. Her drug dealer sexually assaulted her the night of her near-death overdose. She woke legally blind in the hospital having suffered three strokes, a heart attack and organ failure. Demi had pneumonia from choking on her vomit.

Demi also reveals in the documentary what really ended her brief engagement. Max Ehrich and Demi quarantined together the moment the pandemic hit. Within three months, she was engaged. About one-month later, Demi started to discover Max’s clout-chasing intentions.

In the documentary, Demi explains, (quote) “We were only together four to five months. Honestly, it was false advertising. I realized that I didn’t actually know the person that I was engaged to. I was just as shocked as the rest of the world at some of the things that were said and done.” (Us Weekly)
