Reality has begun to set in among concert tour promoters. Live music will not return until mid-2021 — at the earliest.
For example, the Coachella Music Festival in California has been postponed again. The April concert initially rescheduled for this month was pushed back to April 2021. Industry insiders now plan for October of next year.
Coachella is only one example. The expectation is that many other festivals will postpone meaning we will have a second summer without concerts. (Rolling Stone)
