Fans of Lopez simply understood that his comment was just a joke when Lopez said he’ll take half the bounty that was placed on Trump’s head, which is $40 million. a few folks took his remarks to the next level, with some urging the Secret Service to look into it and it looks like they’re going to do just that and are even looking to pay him a visit! Law enforcement tells the news site that
the U.S. Secret Service is aware of George’s joke, and they’re reportedly working to see if his words carry any legitimacy as a threat. George Lopez has yet to publicly speak out on this latest situation. However, Lopez has never been the one to shy away from a Trump joke no matter how extreme it may sound, and since he’s been doing this for years, we’re sure he’s been expecting a friendly visit from the Secret Service team.
