MEL B: Blinded by Herpes

Mel B has returned to Spice Girls rehearsals following a medical emergency. She was temporarily blinded in her left eye.
A source told People magazine (quote) “She’s doing fine now. They gave her some drops. This has happened before. Mel B has herpes in her eye.”
Medically speaking, some people suffer Herpes Simplex One cold sores around their lips. Mel B basically got a cold sore in her eye.
Mel B’s right eye was permanently damaged 20 years ago during botched laser surgery.
