Taylor Swift is in the running for the next Super Bowl halftime show. She had not been considered for years because her endorsement of Diet Coke conflicted with Pepsi’s sponsorship of the halftime show. Pepsi’s contract with the NFL expires this year. The President of Ukraine tore it up on that nation’s version of Dancing With The Stars. He earned the mirrored disco ball. At the time, 15 years ago, Volodymyr Zelenskyy was a comedic actor. Then in 2019, Ukrainians elected President Zelensky in a landslide victory with 73% of the vote. The wildly popular president, who also dubbed the voice of Paddington in Ukraine, vowed to remain and defend their freedoms against Russian invaders. When offered a flight to safety, he replied (quote) “The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.”
