Three new movies arrive this weekend. The Venom sequel will easily win at the box office with as much as $60 million.

Venom: Let There Be Carnagewas made “In Association With Marvel,” according to the opening credits. A warning to parents: Venom 2 is rated PG-13 despite several F-bombs.

Addams Family 2 is released simultaneously at 4200 theaters and streaming for $20. The online component is expected to depress debut weekend revenue, which might reach $10 million. The animated characters are voiced by an all-star cast, including Charlize Theron, Snoop Dogg, Chloë Grace Moretz, Bette Midler and Oscar Isaac.

Streaming this weekend at HBO Max is The Sopranos prequel, The Many Saints of Newark. It will also play on 3200 big screens where ticket sales may struggle to make $6 million. (Box Office Mojo)
