TYRA BANKS: Changes Afoot at *DWTS*

Dancing With the Stars will return next week with a new host, Tyra Banks.

She previewed the upcoming season with Entertainment Tonight. Len Goodman will judge remote from England, where he is quarantined and recovering from surgery to remove a cancerous growth. Tyra added, (quote) “There’s all these travel restrictions because of COVID-19. So we’re trying to figure that out.”

There’s an eight-hour time difference between Los Angeles and London. Len goes to bed before 9 at his age. That means the show would have to tape in the morning and live Dancing shows are impossible to include Len.

Derek Hough will make a surprise return in an unnamed role. Fans speculate he could sit at the judge’s table. There’s a possibility that Hough is being groomed to eventually replace 76-year-old Len Goodman. Tyra said we have to wait another week to learn how Derek will be incorporated into the dance competition.  (Entertainment Tonight)
