Rapper Nipsey Hussle’s Convicted Killer, Eric Holder, To Be Sentenced Today

Written by on February 22, 2023

Eric R. Holder Jr., the man convicted of murdering rapper Nipsey Hussle in 2019 will be sentenced today and is likely to get life in prison. Nipsey was shot and killed outside his own South LA clothing store on March 31, 2019, in a calculated, premeditated fashion by Holder who was upset over a discussion about snitching.

Back in July, jurors found the 32-year-old criminal guilty of the first-degree murder of the 33-year-old rap star. Holder was also convicted of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter and two counts of assault with a firearm for the gunfire that hit two other men at the crime scene. There was tons of evidence against Holder that was presented during court. From eyewitnesses to surveillance cameras and local businesses that captured Holder’s arrival, him carrying out the shooting and his departure. His sentencing was originally scheduled for September but postponed at the request of the defense. This is expected to soon come to an after more than three years and a trial that was often delayed because of the pandemic.
