DRAKE: Sued Over Sample

If Drake wasn’t “In His Feelings” before, he might be after he talks to his lawyer.

TMZ reports that an artist and producer called Sam Skully is suing Drake and Big Freedia for sampling the music used in last year’s hit song “In My Feelings.” Skully also alleges Drizzy stole one of his beats for “Nice for What.”

Court documents claim that “In My Feelings” sampled a song called “Roll Call” without credit, consent or compensation. He says he first put his original music out via CD back in 2000, in the New Orleans area. Flash forward nearly two decades and Skully says he’s hearing his tunes everywhere. (TMZ)
