CELEB DIVORCES: Predictions for 2022

After spending the holidays together as a family, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet [pr: bo-NAY] are the first celebrity couple to announce their divorce. However, they will not be the last Hollywood couple to split this year. (Us Weekly)

Gawker predicted which high-profile couples are likely to divorce in 2022. These are only guesses, based on what Gawker called “rigorous tabloid analysis and careful study of celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser’s follow list on Instagram.”

• Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra because they are rarely in the same city.
• Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel because of their real estate moves. They placed on the market both their Hollywood Hills mansion and sold a Manhattan penthouse for a loss (Dirt.com)
• Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost because her two previous marriages collapsed by the second anniversary. Colin and Scarlett wed in October 2020.
• Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott because they’ve been miserable for years and Tori called the paparazzi before visiting her divorce lawyer.
• Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard because they host an NBC show called Family Game Fight. She said last year (quote) “Real talk. I disagree with my husband on practically everything.”
