Rolling Loud Will Still Pay Pop Smoke, Casanova, and Others Removed From NYC Lineup

The NYPD sent out a letter, obtained by The Fader, asking that Pop Smoke, Casanova, 22Gz, Sheff G, and Don Q be removed from Rolling Loud NYC’s lineup.
The letter, signed by NYPD Assistant Chief Martin Morales, cited “public safety concerns” and stated that the aforementioned rappers were involved with “recent acts of violence citywide.”
RollingLoud co-founder Tariq Cherif took to Twitter to share that despite the calls for removal, the festival still plans to pay full booking fees and book the affected artists for future festival dates in other cities.
The request, dated October 9th, read:
The New York Police Department requests the below listed individuals be removed from performing at the Rolling Loud Festival taking place at Citi Field on Saturday October 12, 2019 and Sunday October 13, 2019 due to public safety concerns.

Casanova (Caswell Senior)
Pop Smoke (Bashar Jackson)
Sheff G (Michael Williams)
Don Q (Lequincy Anderson)The above listed performers have been affiliated with acts of violence citywide. The New York Police Department believes if these individuals are allowed to perform, there will be a higher risk of violence.

Casanova and Don Q confirmed on Instagram that they were no longer performing at Rolling Loud.
