DEMI LOVATO: Comeback at *Grammy Awards*

Written by on January 15, 2020

Mega-manager Scooter Braun arranged for his client Demi Lovato to have her comeback performance on the Grammy Awards stage.

She Instagrammed the announcement on Tuesday, (quote) “I told you the next time you’d hear from me I’d be singing #GRAMMYs.”

The Grammys occur exactly 18-months to the date from her near-death overdose on July 26th, 2018. Demi spent days in the ICU, which reset her sobriety date. Before her overdose, Demi had more than six years of continuous sobriety.

It’s been 20 months since Demi has performed. She sang a confessional song, “Sober,” at her previous show dating back to the summer of 2018. “Sober” is an apology to family and friends for falling off the wagon. (Billboard)
