NICKI MINAJ: Harassment Suit Moves to California

Nicki Minaj must face her husband’s rape accuser in a California court.

Last week, Jennifer Hough voluntarily dismissed her harassment claims in a New York court. Her lawyer said on Thursday that they intend on re-filing the harassment lawsuit in California. The explanation was “jurisdictional issues.” California is where Nicki and Kenneth Petty reside.

Hough claimed in her civil suit that Nicki tried intimidation and harassment to force her to backtrack her story of being raped at age 16 by Petty. They allegedly offered $20,000 in cash for Hough’s silence. The attorney who represents Hough told Rolling Stone magazine, (quote) “We still feel very strongly about the merits of the case against both of them.”
