*LOVE AND HIP-HOP*: Reality Stars Salty Over Snub

Not even the cast of Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta expected to win the Reality Royalty award at the MTV Movie and TV Awards on Monday night.
Some of the runners-up looked visibly surprised at the name called when Big Mouth’s Nick Kroll opened the envelope. The Challenge cast member Johnny Bananas tried to hijack the spotlight, by walking on stage and delivering an “acceptance” speech that was cut from the final broadcast. Scrappy joked after, “I feel like they put in a lot of work, too, but we beat they ass!” He admits that nobody in the cast bothered to write an acceptance speech since they didn’t expect to win.
In a post-show interview, Karlie Redd told Entertainment Tonight, “We got a lot of haters, but to finally get recognized, the recognition for one day [is great].”
Jersey Shore cast member Angelina didn’t even try to hide her frustration. On Instagram Stories, she called the results “complete [BS]” and said the fans “definitely voted for us… If you walk up to anyone on the street and ask them if they know Jersey Shore, their answer will immediately be YES! If you ask them the same question about Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta, they won’t say the same. This is how you know this is [BS].”
