The Top 5 movies this weekend:

1. PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie – $23 million
2. Saw X – $18 million
3. The Creator – $14 million
4. The Nun II – $4.7 million
5. The Blind – $4.1 million

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie fetched $23 million in its debut to land at number-one. That’s nearly double the box office of its predecessor, which opened to $13 million in 2021.

Saw X debuted in second with $18 million. That’s a better opening to the last two films in the horror franchise.

The sci-fi flick The Creator, starring John David Washington, premiered in third with $14 million.

Last weekend’s number-one movie, The Nun II, dropped to fourth with $4.7 million

And The Blind, about the early years of Duck Dynasty‘s Phil Robertson, earned $4.1 million in its first weekend.
