Pixar’s Lightyear arrives this weekend as the only wide release against last weekend’s box office champ, Jurassic World Dominion.

Hollywood projections has Lightyear with a debut of $100 million.

The animated adventure-drama tells the origin story of how Buzz Lightyear of Toy Story fame became an action figure. Chris Evans assumes the voice role from Tim Allen. Lightyear also features the voices of Keke Palmer, Taika Waititi and Josh Brolin.

Jurassic World Dominion revenue will likely drop in its second weekend to $70 million or less. Tom Cruise in the other summer blockbuster, Top Gun: Maverick, should finish third. (Box Office Pro)
