A new trend has hit the internet and it’s getting a lot of lips! Devil Lips also known as Octopus Lips has become the new beauty trend to pop on social media. Women have been using lip fillers or makeup to create what looks like wavy pouts to get the unnatural look. The Devil Lips originated in Russia but has now become a trend in the UK. Some social media users have expressed that they actually like the new trend while others think it’s just outrageous. Dr. Krystyna, a London-based Cosmetic Dentist, and Facial Aesthetician said: “Filler injected inappropriately could end up in a blood vessel, causing blockages and leading to necrosis (death) of the tissue. Seems as though those Devil Lips can lead to Dead Lips.
