LeBron James Becomes The First Player In NBA History To Have 10,000 Career Points, Rebounds, And Assists!

Congratulations to LeBron James who has become the only player in NBA history to earn a career triple-quintuple: 10,000 points, rebounds, and assists. The NBA legend already had 10K+ points and rebounds to his name, the only thing missing was reaching 10K assists.

LeBron was able to reach this during the Los Angeles Lakers’ most recent game against the Phoenix Suns. James entered Sunday’s game with having assisted on 9,998 of his teammates’ baskets. He needed only two more to reach the ultra-exclusive 10,000 assists club, and of course, he got there early in the game. After reaching this incredible milestone, LeBron shared his excitement:
“To now sit alone at a statistical category in this league that I’ve really modeled my game after being able to score, rebound and assist. I sit alone at a stat is pretty like — I’d say ‘cool,’ but it doesn’t quite make sense to me. I get lost for words anytime things like this are happening to me because of where I come from. I automatically start thinking to my hometown of Akron [Ohio] and my upbringing and where I come from and the dreams that I had of being in this league and playing at the highest level,” he said per ESPN.

Although LeBron reached this unique milestone, the Lakers were blown out by the Suns as the scoreline stood at 140-111 at the end of the game in favor of the Suns.
