FELIPE VAZQUEZ: Pirates Pitcher Arrested for Sexual Assault of Child

Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Felipe Vazquez was arrested Tuesday and will face felony charges, including statutory sexual assault, in Pennsylvania and Florida.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement has charged the two-time All-Star with “computer pornography/soliciting a child” and “providing obscene material to minors.” He was denied bail when he was arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Pittsburgh.

Later, he was charged in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, with three other felonies – statutory sexual assault of a minor 11 years or older; unlawful contact with a minor; and corruption of minors. He also faces one misdemeanour for indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old. (ESPN)
