Nick Cannon’s Baby Mama Abby De La Rosa Dispels Rumor She’s Having His Kids For Money

Abby De La Rosa is speaking out about her relationship with Nick Cannon just days after announcing she was pregnant with another baby. Abby, who welcomed twins with the Wild’ N Out star over the summer of 2021, had not disclosed whether Nick is the father of the child when she broke the news, but the media mogul is indeed the dad. And earlier this week, Abby hopped on Instagram Live to answer questions from fans, with one social media user asking her whether she only had his babies for financial gain. “It’s not money. It’s not money, you guys, at all. Like, I really—that’s one thing that I will say, is so cool. Like, I didn’t have twins with this person because he was famous. We were genuine friends; we connected. It was cool.” Abby continued to scroll through comments from fans before reading out concerns from one person who quizzed her whether a man could love her if he’s also impregnating a handful of other women at the same time.

“I think that’s something you need to ask a therapist,” she insisted. “I don’t think I can unpack that. I don’t have the degrees to unpack that question at all.” The remark appeared to have left Abby feeling somewhat distressed as she changed her tune, adding,” Yeah, let’s talk about something else. What’s everyone grateful for? Ask that.”

Nick already has seven children with five women, starting with Moroccan and Monroe, 11, whom he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey, Golden five, and Powerful, 1, with model Brittany Bell, and 11-month old twins Zion and Zillion Heir with Abby. He also welcomed a baby boy named Zen with Alyssa Scott last year, but after being diagnosed with a brain tumor, the toddler died in December that same year. In a recent episode of Lip Service, Nick was asked whether he was expecting three more children — including one he is gearing up to welcome with Bre Tiesi — the California native responded, “When you say ‘on the way…’ what count are you at? Let’s just put it this way… the stork is on the way. I don’t know, it could be… If you thought it was a lot of kids last year.”
