Meek Mill shared his interaction with a group of young boys in Atlanta, GA selling water earlier today. He took to his Instagram to share his interaction with the boys who approached his car. One of the boys reached into his car, and Meek asked, “Support–what are we supporting, though? What are we supporting, though?” One of the boys said, “ The water hustle.” Another one replied, “I’m just a young black man. On my mama soul.” Meek gives the group of boys $20 to split between themselves. It’s unclear how many were present, but it appeared to be about eight boys surrounding the car holding water bottles. When the boys asked for more money, Meek told them he just gave them $20, and someone in the car with Meek said they needed to split that. So many people commented on the situation that Meek Mill started trending on Twitter. Meek decided to respond to the critics by tweeting, “They appreciated it. They just kids hustling.”
