Florida Man Sentenced To 20 Years After Cutting Off Penis Of Wife’s Lover With Scissors

Alex Bonilla, a 51-year-old Gilchrist County, Florida man, has been sentenced to 20 years after pleading guilty to cutting off the penis of wife’s lover — using a pair of scissors. It’s also reported that Bonilla, an immigrant from El Salvador, committed the act while two children were at play in another room. Bonilla found his 35-year-old wife cheating on him with the victim. Bonilla says he “blacked out” and went to the man’s mobile home in Bell, Florida with a gun. He forced the victim into a chair and proceeded to cut off three-quarters of the man’s penis with scissors. Bonilla fled the scene with the victim’s penis in his possession. deputies surrounded Bonilla’s home for his arrest while the victim was rushed to the hospital — where he was told he “will never have any sensation in his penis again.” Bonilla was charged with burglary, kidnapping and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.Bonilla has plead guilty and been sentenced to 20 years in prison, 10 years probation and been charged with more than $251,023 in restitution.
