R. KELLY: Lights, Camera, Court

Written by on March 18, 2019

The world will be watching when R. Kelly has his day in court in a sexual abuse trial.

Cook County Associate Judge Lawrence Flood announced on Friday that cameras will be allowed into the Chicago courtroom for the next hearing this Friday. But taking pictures or video of accusers without their consent is prohibited. At least two victims have made it clear that they won’t take the stand if they’ll be on camera.

Meanwhile, in another highly publicized Chicago court case, the judge has yet to rule whether cameras will be allowed in the court for Jussie Smollett’s case. (Page Six)
