President Biden Signs Bill Ending COVID-19 National Emergency

The coronavirus national emergency was declared three years ago and the Republican-led house allowed it to expire Monday with a voice vote. President Joe Biden’s signature on this bill, which ended all of his predecessor’s declarations of national emergencies, was welcomed by many.
The resolution passed with overwhelming bipartisan support in both chambers of Congress with only 17 Republican members voting against it. This shows how Republicans and Democrats were able to come together despite their differences to make sure Joe Biden could officially end the 19 National Emergency declared by Donald Trump more than a year ago.
