TAYLOR SWIFT: Accused of Cyber Bullying
Written by KingCnote on November 18, 2019
Taylor Swift’s battle with her former label Big Machine Records has spun out-of-control amid death threats. Scooter Braun hates his name dragged through the mud, but Taylor won’t return his calls.
On Thursday, Taylor shared her frustration. The label prevented a medley of her songs at the American Music Awards where she will receive Artist of the Decade honors. She encouraged her followers to tell Big Machine Records owners “Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun how you feel about this.”
The Swifties pounced. Big Machine employees got death threats. The Nashville headquarters closed on Friday at lunch out of an abundance of caution. There are rumors Scott Borchetta may file a cyber-bullying case against Taylor Swift. (Entertainment Tonight)
Meanwhile, Scooter Braun is pissed at how Scott Borchetta has handled the situation so far. He purchased Big Machine – and Taylor’s catalog — but doesn’t have any control of the label’s operations. A source said, (quote) “This fight with Taylor is not something Scooter agrees with.” (E! News)
