Youngest Winner in MTV VMAs History

The 9-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and JAY-Z took home her first award from the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, winning the best cinematography category for Beyoncé’s “Brown Skin Girl.” This win made her the youngest VMA winner ever! The category in which she won was not presented during the VMAs telecast on Sunday. Blue Ivy also shares the great honor with her icon mom as well as “Brown Skin Girl” collaborator Wizkid and SAINt JHN. It’s been a pretty great award year for the mother-daughter duo. The track also won a Grammy in March, which made Blue Ivy one of the youngest Grammy honorees. Her mom also made history this year at the Grammys and became the most decorated female artist.
