Written by on October 13, 2020

The Christmas season is amazing for so many reasons. We get to spend time with our closest friends and family, indulge in delicious holiday meals, give and receive thoughtful gifts and watch all the cheesy Christmas movies we can handle.

Of course, we already have these brand-new movies from Hallmark on our list. Now Netflix has announced its holiday lineup, too!

What Are the Best New Christmas Movies on Netflix?

The full list of Netflix Christmas movies includes 17 new titles and we could not be more excited. While we hope they also bring back the classics from previous years, there’s nothing quite like finding a whole new plot to get lost in.

While each movie has its own holiday merit, I already have a few favorites on my must-watch list. At the top is Dash & Lily, a young adult novel series adaptation that follows two young people through the city of New York while they trade a notebook of personal truths and dares between them at various locations. It’s sweet, whimsical and full of that unique holiday romance. It’s set to premiere on November 10.

Another movie I’m looking forward to is Holidate, starring Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey, two strangers who make a pact to be each other’s “holiday date” for all relevant parties and get-togethers. It’s the perfect set up for all you rom-com lovers out there. Yeah, we might know exactly how it’s going to end, but…we just can’t help ourselves! Look for Holidate to premiere October 28.
