Godzilla: King of the Monsters may earn a quarter-billion dollars in its first weekend around the world. Moviegoers at 4,100 theaters in the United States will contribute around $55 million.  

The R-rated Elton John biopic called Rocketman plays at 3,600 locations. Revenue is predicted to exceed $35 million.
