TYGA: Launching Competitor to OnlyFans

Written by on August 23, 2021

One day after OnlyFans said it will ban “sexually explicit” content, the rapper Tyga quit the site even though he’s one of its top earners.

Tyga revealed he will launch a competitor for content from comedians, athletes and musicians. The press release stated (quote) “MyyStar will allow sexually explicit videos for sex workers and celebrities.”

MyyStar will tax creators 10%, where OnlyFans took a 20% cut of their profits. Tyga said he is personally aware that many sex workers relied on OnlyFans revenue to make a living. He wants MyyStar to “give those people hope.”

Tyga charged $20 per month for a subscription to his OnlyFans account. He’s earned at least $8 million, making him the highest-earning male at OnlyFans. Just three women make more: Tyga’s ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna, former Disney star Bella Thorne and Cardi B. (Forbes)
