TIGER WOODS: Rejected $800 Million Offer

Tiger Woods rejected an $800 million offer to leave the PGA Tour for the upstart LIV Golf sponsored by Saudi Arabia.

Monday night, LIV CEO Greg Norman confirmed (quote) “The number has been out there. Tiger is a needle-mover. So yes, that number is somewhere in the neighborhood of $800 million.”

Forbes magazine estimates Tiger’s net worth to be in excess of $1 billion. It would likely take much more than $800 million for him to join a controversial league. The Saudis bank-rolled LIV Golf.
