*SO YOU THINK YOU CAN FIGHT*: Triller Minor Leagues

The executive producer behind the competition series So You Think You Can Dance will create a new one called So You Think You Can Fight.

Nigel Lythgoe [pr: lith-GO] has partnered with Triller Fight Club, the group behind Jake Paul’s boxing career. The plan for So You Think You Can Fight is to “blend the intense competition of world-class boxing with edge-of-your-seat entertainment by global music stars.”

Each hour-long episode features an amateur fighter being coached by a professional boxer and “celebrity action star.” Winners in the amateur bouts have a chance to progress to pay-per-view Triller Fight Club events. Ringside announcer Snoop Dogg said, (quote) “Who better to take Fight Club to the next level than Nigel Lythgoe, who brought the world American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance.” (Variety)
