SHAQUILLE O’NEAL: Diners Eat for Free

Out on a dinner date, Shaquille O’Neal paid the bill for nearly 300 diners. The New York City restaurant, Jue Lan Club, said the total charge exceeded $25,000.

Apparently, by flaunting his wealth, Shaq is not worried about his date being attracted to him only for his money.

A restaurant employee said the NBA Hall of Famer made them promise to keep this a secret. That had explicit instructions not to say a word until he’d left the restaurant on Sunday night. The staff obliged and in return (quote) “Shaq left them the biggest tip they’ve ever received.” (New York Post)
