Katie Holmes dumped her New York Chef. Emilio Vitolo Junior abruptly ended his engagement eight months ago to date Katie.

Her rep offered a boilerplate explanation, (quote) “The pair have parted ways amicably but remain friends.”

However, an insider doubts they can “remain friends.” Katie lost faith in her guy. The friend revealed (quote) “Katie kept asking herself if he was on the rebound. Something didn’t seem right. She wondered if Emilio had ulterior motives for dating her.”
