Jennifer Lopez hired an event planner for a lavish wedding reception.

Colin Cowie has worked with J-Lo before. He’s also helped Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian and Michael Jordan throw huge events for hundreds of guests. Some of Cowie’s parties have had budgets approaching $25 million.

The New York Post initially reported that Ben Affleck would throw the bash on his Georgia property in conjunction with J-Lo’s birthday. Instead, they honeymooned in Paris and celebrated her birthday in the City of Love. The Post got the dates wrong, but the party-planning for Georgia is still underway.

Ben turns 50 years old in two weeks. They could arrange a two-fer celebration in Georgia. And it occurs before Labor Day, which allows J-Lo to wear all-white. (New York Post)
