RIHANNA: Working With The Neptunes

Rihanna has been working on new music with one of the industry’s biggest hitmakers.

On Thursday, RiRi logged onto Instagram to update her fans on the progress of her R9 album. She posted a picture with The Neptunes to Instagram Stories with the caption, “Gang. Back in the STU.” It’ll be her first time working with Pharrell since the 2017 smash hit “Lemon.” 

A week ago, she dropped hints that this was her plan. She told The Cut she planned to spend Valentine’s Day by “going to the studio.” At the time, she said she couldn’t say who she’d be working with, but it’s “somebody [she’s] been wanting to work with… for a long time.”
