New Instagram Filter

Instagram installed a filter to block certain sponsored ads from teenagers. Users under the age of 18 will no longer be able to see posts about diet products and cosmetic surgery and detox teas. The platform’s public policy manager said (quote) “We want Instagram to be a positive place for everyone. this policy reduces the pressure that people can sometimes feel as a result of social media.” (BuzzFeed)
