LeBron James Honors Kobe Bryant

After unveiling his tattoo honoring the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant on Instagram, LeBron James gave a heartwarming speech showing respect to Kobe Bryant.

James first acknowledged all of the victims of the tragic helicopter crash which occurred on Sunday. The lives lost were Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna Bryant, the helicopter’s pilot Ara Zobayan, Christina Mauser, Sarah and Peyton Chester, John Altobelli, his wife, Keri, and their daughter Alyssa.

Before disposing of a piece of paper, LeBron mentioned, “I got something written down, they asked me to stay on course. Laker Nation I would be selling yall short if I read from this, so Imma go straight from the heart.”Tonight we celebrate the kid that came here at 18, retired at 38 and became probably the best dad we’ve seen over the last three years,” he said. The speech went on as he spoke about memories, love, and support shown by the Lakers fanbase.

In conclusion, LeBron said Kobe’s famous tagline, “Mamba Out.”
